A few more pictures from our portland trip and Madelyn's first plane ride!

Madelyn was great for our first plane ride. I was alone with her so i was a little nervous but she just slept the whole time! This is a picture of Kaulana trying to protect himself from the spit up!Here is a pic of maddie's crazy cross eyes while she was trying to focus. haha so funny looking!

Our trip to Portland for Maddie's Blessing

On Madelyn's two month birthday we were able to travel to Portland where both our families now live. Kaulana was at a construction competition in reno and I didn't want to be alone in our apartment with Maddie so I flew to Portland on Wednesday of that week and then he met us there on Saturday. It was really great to show Maddie off to everyone since most of them hadn't met her yet. She was a little overwelmed by all of the people and noise but she got used to it. We got her a stroller and since she would get fussy when people would try to hold her all the time Uncle Matt would just push her around the house in her stroller and she loved it. Here are a few pictures of Madelyn hanging out with her friend Saylor.

Here are some pictures of us after madelyn's blessing. She wore a vintage dress that my mom had and she looked beautiful. Kaulana gave her a beautiful blessing and we were so lucky to have alot of our family members there. We were sad though that our good friends up at school werent able to be there.

Madelyn's First Day at Church!

We took Madelyn to church for the first time when she was almost two weeks old. It was so much fun to dress her up and although she slept the whole time Kaulana had a great time holding our little girl.

I love this picture cause it looks like maddie is wearing a toupe. After being here for a week my mom had to head back home for christmas. She ended up getting stuck in Salt Lake City because all of the snow everywhere.

We didnt want Madelyn to be exposed to the freezing cold weather but we wanted pictures of what the weather was like when she was born. So we figures that we would take them like this and technically she is still in the picture just all warm in her carseat. We ended up spending christmas in Driggs, Idaho in a cabin with Kaulana's family.
